The Mavic soft stone is designed to clean the rim sidewalls with UB Control, Ceramic or other finishes, of MTB, road and BMX wheels. This product is made to eliminate soft stone deposits stuck to the rim sidewalls in order to rediscover optimum braking performance. These deposits reduce the braking efficiency and interfear with the cyclist's safety.

The Mavic soft stone can be used on a dry or wet surface, with soapy water or not, as a very fine sand paper. Using the soft stone on a dry surface is recommended as it lasts longer and produces better results. Cleaning the braking surfaces of dirt, aluminium shards, stones and other large debris is necessary before using the soft stone. Using the soft stone on anodized surfaces will fade away the colour.
